~The Fujiya Hotel's historic architectural beauty and hospitality bear fruit, earning a prestigious international award~

The Fujiya Hotel (Managing Director & General Manager: Norikazu Kubota), operated by Fujiya Hotel Co., Ltd. (Location: 359 Miyanoshita, Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo-gun, Kanagawa / President & Representative Director: Akira Ando) of the Kokusai Kogyo Group, was awarded "New Member of the Year" at the 2026 annual conference hosted by Historic Hotels Worldwide® (HHW), an international organization recognizing hotels of historical value.

"New Member of the Year" is a prestigious award presented to new member hotels of HHW that demonstrate exceptional history, architectural beauty, and hospitality. This year’s conference was held at the Williamsburg Lodge, Autograph Collection, a historic hotel adjacent to the Colonial Williamsburg historic district in Virginia, USA..

The Fujiya Hotel was honored with the award among 11 carefully selected hotels from around the world named as finalists for "New Member of the Year". This recognition highly praises the historical architectural beauty passed down since its establishment in 1878, as well as the hospitality cultivated over many years while welcoming numerous guests from Japan and abroad.   Encouraged by this honor, The Fujiya Hotel will continue to protect its historical value and deliver unforgettable stay experiences to guests from all over the world.
